Shape sorters are a great way to learn geometric shapes, but also motor skills and logical thinking. First, children must figure out which shape will fit into which slot, and then they practice eye-hand coordination by trying to fit the shape into its slot. These blocks also help toddlers learn color recognition, as the shapes are painted in three different colors: yellow, blue, and red.
The game can be played in two ways: the child can try to place the blocks one inside the other, by shape, by color, in the appropriate places on the board, or simply try to fit each block into its assigned place on the wooden board.
The toy is made entirely of wood, so by purchasing it you are caring for the environment and reducing the production of plastic waste.
